Foundation-6
Having a healthy body helps to create a calmer mind, ready for learning.  Our soccer program develops the child's skills in the sport whilst improving their motor skills, balance, coordination and teamwork.
The positive effects that learning a sport can have on general learning include:
  • building memory and self confidence
  • developing great team work
  • improved hand-eye coordination
  • improved physical strength and ability

A Fun and Engaging Way
to Learn

Our soccer program is structured and as it progresses, the children’s learning is scaffolded to ensure they build on their previous knowledge.  All of the lessons follow our framework of:
  • Why? (context),
  • What? (theory),
  • How? (guided practice) and
  • What if…? (independent tasks).

We recognise the importance of developing skills in a non-competitive way, allowing children to develop relationships with their school mates.  We promote social and mental awareness along with physical prowess. Children learn how to share, take turns and listen to instruction in a fun, stress-free environment

Hands On!

Of course, we know that there is no better way to learn soccer skills than to have a go. There is plenty of time devoted to learning new soccer skills as well as developing team working skills.
