My daughter was one of your earlier students. In fact she won a $60,000.00 scholarship to a girls private school because of her chess. Strange but true. It was a 40 min conversation, no test just the badges she wore on her school uniform.

Today she received her results for her Thesis at the University of Melbourne for her Masters of Architecture a H1. Last night she presented her thesis at a Global Summit on line for the Engineering Dept of Uni Of Melb, then today offered to give that same talk in Tassie in 2022 at another conference. Also on the same day was selected to represent her Masters Program for her thesis on line for her year level.
Why am I telling you all of this?
Because I believe that chess gave her so many skills. If it was not for chess I do not believe she would be in this same place. She is highly competitive and wants to win and the violin , piano and other passive activities like wood work did not give her that edge.

Just wanted to say Thank you for providing this fantastic activity and I have recommended it to many parents over the years. It would be awesome to see what other old students ended up doing, I am sure for those that stuck with it like she did not s few years that it gave them so many skills they are unaware of.
