The Creative Writing process is an exercise in problem solving, whether it be for the characters in the story or for the author. Learning the language to solve these problems and communicate it to a variety of audiences is a key foundation for children’s literacy development. Children are encouraged to explore a variety of themes and questions to get their imaginative juices flowing, using an appropriate structure to help them overcome the fear of what to write.
